The Maze of Injustice.

Raising awareness of the injustice that women and girls face when they encounter crimes and violence committed against them.


The Challenge.

One in three women worldwide experience violence in their lifetime, yet the legal odds are stacked against them, with many never getting justice.


Real World Thinking.

As part of ActionAid’s Justice for Women campaign, the charity wanted more people to gain a true understanding of the barriers to injustice that women and girls face every single day.

The Execution.

The Maze of Injustice – a PR stunt that illustrated the many barriers women and girls around the world face when accessing justice for violence and crimes committed against them.

For one day only, visitors were invited to navigate the locked doors, dead ends and mirrored walls using key information, global statistics and ActionAid’s success stories as their guide.

Celebrity supporters of the charity – Pearle Mackie, Charlie Webster and Andrea Riseborough – were in attendance on the day to guide visitors and answer any media questions.
